We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Resource Counselor. This role is a vital part of our Resource Center, which provides essential services to seniors, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct respectful and thorough interviews to assess client needs and provide guidance.
  • Multi-task by listening, entering information, and researching resources simultaneously.
  • Ensure timely completion of paperwork and database entries.
  • Meet deadlines consistently and deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field is preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience and knowledge of aging and disabilities populations and programs is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including exceptional listening skills and familiarity with community resources and services for seniors.
  • Familiarity with the Medicaid waiver is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills related to databases, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $34,000-$37,000 annually.

  • CERS Retirement plan with 6% employee contribution rate and 23.34% employer contribution rate.
