Job Summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse to provide on-site and remote healthcare services to our employees. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing emergency care, acute injury/illness care, and case management for personal health-related issues and work-related injuries/illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct on-site acute injury/illness care, including occupational health nursing and workers' compensation case management.
  • Advocate for a positive and thriving work culture, leading projects related to health promotion at the site or regional level.
  • Collaborate with Benefits, EHS, and other stakeholders to implement health promotion initiatives.
Requirements
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and certification in Basic Life Support.
  • At least two years of independent clinical experience in adult clinical care, including occupational health, hospital, primary care, urgent care, ER, or public health department settings.
  • Proficient in nursing assessment/treatment skills, basic emergency response, administering medications, administering vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior occupational health or emergency room/family practice related work experience.
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN), COHN-CM, CCM, and knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA regulations.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing at a desk for computer work.
  • Ability to transport standard clinic emergency bag and perform high-quality emergency response per BLS certification.
