- Claims Preparation and Submission: Create precise and comprehensive billing claims for submission to insurance providers, government payers, or patients. This process involves confirming patient demographics, insurance coverage, and coding accuracy.
- Address Claim Denials: Tackle claim denials or rejections by identifying the underlying issues, supplying additional documentation, or appealing decisions as required.
- Ensure Compliance: Remain informed about the latest coding guidelines, regulations, and payer requirements to guarantee compliance and optimize reimbursement.

Qualifications
Education: Generally requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS-P) and anesthesia-specific coding (e.g., CANPC) are highly desirable.
Experience: Previous experience in medical billing and coding, particularly in anesthesia, is preferred.
