Digital Home Systems is a leading provider of premium home automation solutions, seeking an experienced Alarm Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining high-end alarm systems for our discerning clients.
Responsibilities
- System Design and Installation
- Design and install complex alarm systems for high-end residential and commercial clients
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific security needs and provide expert recommendations
- System Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Conduct regular system evaluations to identify any issues or areas of improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
- Customer Service and Support
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific security needs and provide expert recommendations
- Inventory Management and Maintenance
- Monitor inventory of service parts and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Alarm Systems Specialist, preferably within a high-end residential setting
- Proficient knowledge of alarm system components, wiring, and programming
- Strong technical skills to design and install complex alarm systems
- Attention to detail and ability to execute installations with precision and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Professional and polished demeanor, reflecting our luxury brand image
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in alarm system installation or a related field
- Familiarity with luxury brands and products in the AV industry
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations pertaining to alarm system installations
