Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Apartment Leasing Specialist to join our team at Gene B. Glick Company, Inc.

The Apartment Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in the leasing process of our residential units.

Key Responsibilities

The Apartment Leasing Specialist will be expected to perform the following duties:
  • Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries with the objective of scheduling tours for potential residents.
  • Welcome prospective tenants, showcase the features and advantages of the apartment units and community amenities, clarify occupancy terms, and provide insights about the surrounding area.
  • Facilitate the leasing process by securing holding deposits and applications from interested individuals.
  • Follow up diligently with potential residents who have not yet committed to leasing to nurture the sales process and finalize agreements.
  • Assess and verify the eligibility of applicants in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Support the Property Manager in marketing initiatives and promotional activities aimed at attracting new residents and retaining current ones.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about competitor activities in the area, enhancing our competitive edge.
  • Provide marketing insights based on the analysis of market research findings.
  • Timely completion and submission of all required weekly reports to designated personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and Fair Housing laws in all leasing activities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License in the state of residence is required.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
