Job Summary:

The Leasing Manager - Office Operations will be responsible for supervising the office staff in administrative tasks such as filing, records management, and processing service requests. This role will also ensure positive resident relations and assist the Property Manager in developing and implementing effective business plans and strategies to achieve occupancy and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement office procedures and practices to ensure efficient operations.
  • Review and analyze reports from INA/VNA and Yardi systems to identify areas for improvement in marketing strategy and guest card management.
  • Assist the Property Manager in developing and implementing marketing strategies to maximize resident retention and generate a steady flow of qualified prospective clients.
  • Supervise on-the-job training and development of qualified leasing and APM staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement positive resident relation functions, including newsletters and notices, to foster a sense of community and engagement among residents.
  • Complete, review, and submit reports on a timely basis to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Review lease paperwork to ensure all applications are completed and ready for Property Manager approval.
  • Supervise the work of office, administrative, or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems as needed.
  • Train and instruct employees in job duties and company policies or arrange for training to be provided.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment and budget expense control to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of residential or commercial projects.
  • Proficient in standard information technology tools, including Office products.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Able to work overtime and emergency call-in.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
