ROLE OVERVIEW:

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our convenience store. Your primary responsibilities will include managing daily activities, supervising staff, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supervise and coordinate employee activities to maintain high service standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to foster a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols within the store.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and customer transactions.
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize stock availability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Enforce store policies and procedures consistently.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Assist the Store Manager with staffing and scheduling tasks.

This position offers a pathway for advancement into a Store Manager role, along with a commission structure based on sales performance.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
• Understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and staff.
• Proficiency in handling cash and electronic payments.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to address and resolve issues promptly.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

FULL TIME / PART TIME: Full-Time

STARTING WAGE: $14.00
