DESCRIPTION:

As an Assistant Manager at Top Stop Convenience Stores, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail establishment. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering outstanding service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and coordinate employee activities to maintain high service standards.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and customer transactions.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Train and mentor store personnel to enhance their skills.
  • Assist the Store Manager with staffing and scheduling duties.

This role offers a commission structure based on sales performance and productivity, providing an opportunity for financial growth.

Previous experience in a retail or convenience store environment
Strong understanding of customer service principles

Competence in operating point-of-sale systems
Skills in resolving customer and staff issues effectively
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to stand for extended periods
