Job Title: Process Improvement Specialist

Role Summary:

The Process Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the organization. This includes developing and implementing process improvements, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and other continuous improvement initiatives to drive cultural change and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions to drive business results.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and coaching to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and seated work.
  • Occasional repetitious tasks with upper extremities.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to correctly wear and use personal protective equipment.
