Overview:

This position primarily involves the assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the assembly, installation, and maintenance of plumbing systems in compliance with applicable plumbing codes.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in working with various materials such as copper, galvanized steel, PVC, and others.
  3. Engage in tasks ranging from trench excavation for new pipelines to the installation of plumbing fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
  4. Utilize skills from other trades as necessary to meet client demands and expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not include supervisory duties.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of two years in the plumbing trade.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions provided in various formats. Capable of addressing issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

While performing job duties, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling, and communicate effectively. Occasional requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crawling. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While executing job responsibilities, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and varying weather conditions. Occasional exposure to heights, fumes, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, and vibrations may occur. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
