Overview:
At EMCOR Government Services, we pride ourselves on being a multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to fulfilling our clients' diverse needs. Our field personnel are trained across various trades, including millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, and sheet metal work. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist our skilled workers by performing a variety of tasks such as maintaining cleanliness at job sites, unloading supplies, preparing work areas, retrieving tools, and managing debris. The role is not limited to a specific set of skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor duties, including:
- Preparing job sites for upcoming tasks.
- Cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Assisting with the loading, unloading, and distribution of materials.
- Supporting skilled tradespeople with installations and basic tasks.
- Follow directions from site leaders and foremen.
- Assist craftworkers in their daily responsibilities by addressing basic needs.
- Possess additional skills in various crafts to meet the demands of our clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capability to address issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.

While executing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, frequently walk, and use hands for various tasks.
