We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Remodeling Project Coordinator Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will guide clients through the materials selection process, ensuring their choices align with the project's design vision, budget, and timeline.

Job Summary

This role serves as a critical link between the design team, clients, estimating, and project managers, helping to deliver exceptional results and a seamless remodeling experience.

  • **Client Consultations**: Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, and other design elements for their remodeling projects. Educate clients on product options, ensuring selections align with their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and project budgets.
  • **Budget Management**: Ensure choices remain within the established project budget. Address potential budget adjustments proactively with clients and project managers.
  • **Documentation and Communication**: Maintain detailed records of all client selections, including product specifications, model numbers, and finishes. Communicate selections and updates to the design team, project managers, and vendors to ensure alignment.
  • **Showroom Management**: Maintain and update showroom displays with current product offerings, ensuring an inspiring and professional space for client meetings. Stay informed of new trends, materials, and technologies to keep the showroom offerings up-to-date.
  • **Coordination with Teams**: Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of selections into project plans. Address client questions and concerns promptly, providing exceptional service throughout the selection process.
  • **Issue Resolution**: Handle any discrepancies or issues related to materials, such as delays or defects, and work with suppliers to resolve them efficiently.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience in design-build or remodeling.
  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a design, remodeling, or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and fixtures used in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, and additions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide clients and build trust.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and familiarity with CRM and project management tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of current trends in home design and remodeling is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans is preferred.
  • Experience in budget management and material procurement is preferred.
