Job Title: Millwright/Industrial Mechanic
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to join our team at a prosperous aerospace facility in the Cromwell/Wallingford CT area. This is a Monday to Friday 2nd shift position with top wages.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Assemble and install machines, testing them to ensure proper function.
• Work in compliance with approved safety regulations.
• Identify and repair problematic machine parts by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts.
• Dismantle and replace older machines with new ones.
• Oversee preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn-out parts, and lubricating mechanical components.
• Use machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts.
• Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines, and blowers; align machines and equipment; assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures.
Qualifications: Strong mechanical abilities with limited millwright experience or experience working on industrial machinery.
