Automation/Industrial Technician

Job Summary:
As an Automation Technician III at C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's automated material handling systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuous operation of these systems by troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and performing preventive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex automated systems, including conveyor systems and robotic arms.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including calibration and adjustments.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage in a computerized maintenance management system.
- Assist and train other automation team technicians in troubleshooting and repairs.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, including 480, 277, and 120 volt systems.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and network diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical studies or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:
This is a 2nd shift position, working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have good mobility, physical exertion, and be able to lift, bend, and climb ladders.
