Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Food City. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and produce high-quality food and pastries to meet customer expectations.
  • Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies to order, using a variety of techniques and designs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the display case and surrounding area.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Food service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands of the job.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
