Orthopedic Medical Coding Specialist

Position Overview:
The role involves Orthopedic Coding, where you will assess physician recommendations for treatments to ensure precision in coding. Your responsibilities will include aligning the appropriate billing codes with both surgical and non-surgical procedures, and facilitating the submission of documentation to insurance providers or relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate physician treatment recommendations.
- Assign correct billing codes for various procedures.
- Submit necessary documentation to insurance companies.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in coding, with a focus on CPC, Pro-fee, and E/M.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic coding.
- Experience in E/M coding is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a medical coder is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience in the medical coding field.
