Position Overview:
The Healthcare Coding Analyst plays a crucial role in the precise and prompt coding of intricate services. This position is essential for guaranteeing accurate diagnoses, procedure codes, and other specified data to facilitate appropriate and efficient reimbursement for facility charges, utilizing information from medical records while adhering to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Code intermediate to complex diagnostic, evaluation and management, surgical, and procedural coding services (may include inpatient coding)
- Conduct monthly coding quality reviews and share insights with the team
- Ensure all charges are consolidated by applying reports or processes daily and follow up as necessary
- Communicate with Providers, Billing Operation Managers, and clinic staff regarding documentation and coding concerns, while providing ongoing education
- Assist in research and resolve issues promptly, offering feedback to management and/or providers
- Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and management in care and decision-making processes

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-A, CCA, RHIT, and/or RHIA certification
- A minimum of 2 years of coding experience; adept in basic coding and capable of managing more complex coding tasks
- Proficient in CPT and ICD-10-CM coding or professional and medical facility coding
- Familiarity with medical billing systems
- Strong analytical skills; ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
