About the Role

Atlas Sand Company, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Frac Sand Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conveyor belt system at the frac site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and implement daily work plans with minimal supervision.
  • Assist the site crew with mobilization of conveyor systems and ensure timely deployment.
  • Monitor and control the automated conveyor belt system, ensuring efficient conveyance of sand containers and silos to the wellhead.
  • Operate and maintain conveyor equipment, including starting and regulating the system's speed.
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading of containers and silos with site supervisors and forklift operators.
  • Maintain accurate records of sand unloading and tracking system updates.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment and inspect systems prior to start-up.
  • Contribute to general site housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in conveyor system operation or comparable experience.
  • Previous oilfield or drilling site operations experience is preferred.
  • Basic maintenance skills, including fluid checks and filter maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and be at least 18 years of age.
  • High safety standards for self and others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the site.
  • Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more.
  • Frequently climb ladders and stairs.
