Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment is prepared and operational for timely pumping.
  • Conduct fluid checks and visual inspections of all equipment before startup.
  • Safely rig up all frac equipment in a timely manner.
  • Maintain communication with the frac supervisor throughout operations.
  • Account for all chemicals and ensure readiness for pumping.
  • Operate frac equipment as required.
  • Prioritize equipment oversight over distractions.
  • Report any issues to the frac supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in training new equipment operators in frac operations.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Adhere to proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Fill packing lube after each operational stage.
  • Inspect units to ensure readiness for pumping.
  • Complete all necessary inspection documentation for equipment.
  • Conduct site walks to confirm all equipment is properly shut down.
  • Ensure safe cleanup and securement of all chemicals.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the work area before departure.
  • Communicate any operational issues to the frac supervisor.
