We are seeking a skilled Chemical Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient treatment of chemicals during frac stages.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor chemical treatment levels during frac stages to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Pull and test water samples using various testing equipment to maintain quality control.
- Conduct regular walk-arounds to inspect equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Ensure daily operations comply with EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Prepare and submit reports in a timely manner to management.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Verify that all equipment is running properly and make adjustments as needed.
- Follow established policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Inform supervisor promptly of any issues or concerns that may impact operations.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and adhere to company safety protocols.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence to management and other stakeholders.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years' experience in a related field
- LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License
- TRAVEL: Varies depending on job site
- OTHER: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
