Job Title: Facilities Management Specialist

Location: Lexington, Virginia

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at the Virginia Military Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating various control systems, including HVAC and electronic access systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update schedules for control systems, including HVAC and lighting.
  • Support contractors in repairing HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues with field controllers and devices.
  • Maintain EAC hardware Post-wide.
  • Create and issue keys.

Requirements:

  • Two years of relevant professional experience in control or building automation systems (BAS) operation, installation, or maintenance.
  • Experience with facilities HVAC system operation and maintenance, preferably in a networked multi-building campus setting.
  • Ability to work from schematics, blueprints, drawings, written and verbal instructions.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
