Job Overview

The Administrative Assistant for the Division of Student Affairs is responsible for providing support to various departments, including the Vice President and Dean of Students. This position serves as an administrative assistant role and interacts with administrators, faculty, students, parents, alumni, and other constituents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various administrative functions such as database management, record-keeping, preparing correspondence, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, recording minutes, and generating reports.
  • Receive visitors, answer phone calls, sort mail, and handle inquiries to the Division of Student Affairs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, financial records, and operations forms, ensuring timely processing.
  • Organize departmental files and records, assist in archiving, and monitor budgets and expenditures.
  • Assist with committee work, events, and coordinate logistics for projects, programs, and presentations.
  • Maintain office supplies and materials, reviewing daily work methods to expedite workflow.
Salary and Benefits
$21.32 - $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong records maintenance skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Workday.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule
8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
