Role Overview

As a Machine Learning Engineer at The Learning Experience #363, you will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and implementing machine learning models that propel our educational initiatives. Your collaboration with diverse teams, including product development, engineering, data analytics, and operational staff, will be crucial in embedding machine learning solutions into our educational framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and advocate for the machine learning strategy across the organization, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
  • Model Development: Design, construct, and deploy scalable machine learning models aimed at enhancing personalized learning experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Data Management: Collaborate with data teams to guarantee the availability of high-quality data for training and evaluating models.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers to identify areas where machine learning can address educational challenges and improve outcomes.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, experimenting with new methodologies to enhance existing models.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in deploying machine learning models in production settings.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
