Job Summary

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Atrium Health, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safe and effective administration of anesthesia, allowing patients to receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations to assess patient health and develop personalized anesthesia plans.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Administer anesthesia, manage patient vital signs, and respond to any complications that may arise.
  • Document patient information and anesthesia records accurately.
  • Participate in educational programs to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
  • CRNA certification and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Physical and Environmental Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting of equipment and supplies. You must be able to react calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
