Job Summary

As a skilled Anesthesia Care Specialist at Atrium Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients undergoing medical or surgical procedures. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthetics to patients, maintaining a safe and stable level of anesthesia throughout the procedure.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Perform venous and arterial access procedures, as well as other necessary tasks to support patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • NC RN licensure and CRNA certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
