Job Summary

The Senior Project Engineer will lead and support investment and other project activities, including design, procurement, construction, startup, and project management. This role will be responsible for daily activities of assigned projects, ensuring strict adherence to site EHS requirements, completion of assigned tasks, and providing updates on project status to relevant team members, management, and others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain key supplier/contractor relationships for consistent and reliable project execution.
  • Drive cost-reduction projects for year-over-year productivity and departmental-specific capital programs.
Requirements
  • BS degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing work environment.
  • Strong leadership and motivation skills within all layers of the business.
  • Confident communications, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Proven organization and teamwork skills within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or MBA.
  • PE Certification.
  • Previous experience in large-scale capital project execution (>$1MM).
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt certification, with solid statistical analysis and problem-solving expertise.
  • SAP experience (or comparable ERP knowledge).
  • 3D CAD Drawing Experience.
