Position Overview:
A prominent engineering firm is seeking a skilled Project Engineer III to contribute to our Land Development division.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Design various project components utilizing advanced software and Civil 3D technology.
- Execute calculations employing engineering principles and leverage technology to address challenges.
- Develop specifications for materials through thorough research and catalog references to ensure proper installation, inspection, and payment processes.
- Finalize design details and comprehensive plan sets.
- Conduct research and compile objective summary reports essential for project completion or inspection.
- Assist in formulating engineering and construction cost estimates.
- Perform field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering personnel.
- Facilitate communication with client representatives and internal design teams as instructed by senior staff.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Land Development civil engineering, particularly in residential neighborhood design and commercial/mixed-use projects.
- EIT certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in CADD and/or Civil 3D software, with a preference for Civil 3D.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
