Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Trust Fund Accountant to enhance our dynamic team within the medical industry. This role is ideal for an individual eager to elevate their accounting career. As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include preparing financial reports, managing the general ledger, and ensuring precise financial accounting practices. You will be instrumental in generating and evaluating financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports and statements to uphold accounting control procedures.
  • Oversee the general ledger and reconcile accounts, ensuring thoroughness and precision.
  • Ensure all financial accounting activities adhere to company policies and uphold the highest integrity standards.
  • Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support decision-making.
  • Monitor financial details to guarantee legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate the annual audit process.
  • Enhance systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing valuable insights and analysis for strategic decisions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and current financial legislation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, general ledger management, and financial statements.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in the medical sector is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
