Job Summary:

Pro Mach is seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to develop relationships with new and existing customers in the Craft Brew market to grow revenue stream and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers and establish contact with key decision-makers, leading to opportunities to meet their needs for plastic carriers and machinery.
  • Reach out to existing customers to build relationships and trust.
  • Analyze customer requirements and promote company products to meet those requirements.
  • Advise customers on product applications, proposed application solutions, and new product introductions.
  • Conduct sales presentations (on- or off-site), employing layouts, drawings, and demonstration videos.
  • Host and coordinate visits of customers to company, or plant visits to other customers.
  • Maintain a prospect-customer CRM/data base and develop and maintain sales reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
  • Perform lead generating activities, i.e. call, email, attend conferences and tradeshows, network within the industries, etc.
  • Follow up on company-supplied leads in a timely manner.
  • Prepare proposals, including pricing and delivery information, negotiate contracts.
  • Manage the customers expectations from order initiation to project acceptance, including coordination with the customer of needed specifications, product samples, defining both company and customer responsibilities.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure all product goals and objectives meet customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferred.
  • 2+ years commodities sales experience preferred.
  • Packaging, Capital Equipment experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of can beverage packaging industries and applications a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels.
  • Self-managing/responsible, have an energetic and personable demeanor, be self-motivated.
  • Flexible and dedicated to doing what it takes to get the job done.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as strong math skills.
  • Comfortable with first time customer engagements.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
