**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Lazy Dog Restaurants, LLC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Conduct regular inspections of our restaurants to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards

• Oversee product purchasing and manage the culinary budget to ensure profitability

• Develop and implement menu items and promotions to drive sales and revenue growth

• Lead and direct a team of culinary staff, including line cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen personnel

• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement

• Collaborate with our hospitality team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our culinary offerings

**Requirements**

• 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant environment

• Proven track record of success in developing and leading high-performing culinary teams

• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols, as well as local health and safety regulations

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
