As a key member of the team at Momnt, the Event Planning Specialist will oversee the strategic planning and implementation of various events aimed at engaging our target audience, including potential clients, partners, and recruits. This role is essential in ensuring that our events are not only well-organized but also effectively contribute to our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Chief Revenue Officer to manage all logistical aspects of marketing and sales events, including timelines, venues, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, staffing, budget management, and post-event analysis.
  • Identify and secure appropriate personnel, speakers, and special guests for each event.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to propose potential marketing and sales events.
  • Ensure the Marketing department is equipped with comprehensive information and objectives for each event.
  • Provide both technical and administrative support to the Marketing team, attendees, and guests.
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to effectively promote events before and after they occur.
  • Assist in achieving company goals for lead generation through trade shows, webinars, and other events.
  • Quickly process leads generated from events to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Maintain an organized annual calendar and dedicated webpage for confirmed marketing and sales events.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in ordering promotional materials and managing inventory.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate recruiting events as necessary.
  • Assist leadership in organizing internal company events as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows and other in-person events, with an estimated travel frequency of around 20%.
  • Local candidates are preferred.
