Job Title: Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team at AdvoCare, LLC. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets patients and families, provides necessary registration forms, and updates patient information.
  • Efficiently answers phone calls, directs patients to the appropriate staff, and documents messages.
  • Verifies correct insurance information and collects co-pay or payments for services.
  • Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments in a timely manner.
  • Inputs visit information from encounter forms after each appointment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by providers, coordinators, and managers in accordance with established office policy.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Able to use office equipment satisfactorily and handle paperwork/filing adequately.
  • Skilled in patient-service principles, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, and communicating clearly in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information.
