We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Premium Operations to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the Premium department to achieve exceptional guest experiences, partner satisfaction, and financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of premium operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and daily operations.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals.
- Collaborate with location leadership to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction and financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance engagement within the premium department.
- Oversee season planning and event preparation to ensure maximum event readiness.
- Build strong relationships with regular guests and suite holders.
- Partner with the culinary team to develop menus for premium spaces.
- Implement and maintain the Suites Management System for the premium department.
- Ensure the availability of printed collateral to support promotions and premium offer communication.
- Work with the location partner to deploy the vision and operational plan for sponsored spaces within the premium department.
- Oversee loss prevention activities, including managing cash drops/collection and completing cash variance logs.
- Ensure all aspects of premium operations align with Levy's Core Signature standards.
- Oversee annual suite holder tastings in partnership with the culinary team.
- Attend BEO meetings to plan for upcoming events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate completion of the requisition process.
- Work with the culinary and purchasing team to review consumption rates and update par levels as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all Payment Card Information rules.
- Complete monthly financial reporting and action planning.
- Ensure regular maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of all premium areas and equipment.
- Ensure all appropriate alcohol service signage is placed and that Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols are followed.
- Oversee recruitment activities for team members.
- Support team member orientation training to ensure all hourly team members have the skills and knowledge to delight our guests.
- Oversee service standards during events to ensure a high standard of guest experience.
- Ensure accurate end-of-month inventory completion.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints.
- Manage team member incidents/accidents and follow all required reporting procedures.
- Manage the onboarding of new management employees in line with our #bestdayever process.
- Conduct monthly safety training for team members.
- Manage team member scheduling in line with demand forecasts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
