Job Summary

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Project Workstream Lead to join our team. As a key member of our National Security client's project management office (PMO), you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of IT project management initiatives, projects, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to manage and enhance business processes, facilitate meetings, and develop client communications and reports.
  • Develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, identify and report on risks and issues, and apply agile framework concepts.
  • Deliver solutions to complex program management challenges and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups to gather information and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Proactively raise risks and issues and provide reports to senior-level executives.
Requirements
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience supporting PMO-related projects or initiatives.
  • Ability to work on client site in Washington D.C. a minimum of three days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificates preferred: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Knowledge Preferred: Change Management, IT Program Management, Business Strategy and Transformation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a variety of project environments.
  • Experience working with and briefing senior-level government stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather or create requirements and metrics to address client questions and needs.
  • Ability to effectively deliver written and verbal presentations in an informative and succinct manner, addressing questions and feedback professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
