Job Title: Project Superintendent

Shaw Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to lead our construction projects in Denver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the field construction of projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities, including organizing and leading the division of work among the Shaw team.
  • Review subcontractor scopes of work and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement site planning, logistics, and build strategies to optimize work execution.
  • Establish and enforce a comprehensive project safety and security program, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractor work, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Implement the Shaw 1-2-3 Quality Control program, conducting regular inspections and maintaining a master deficiency log.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documents, including drawings, specifications, and As-Built drawings.
  • Partner with the Shaw Self-Perform group to develop and implement plans for labor, equipment, budget, and material inventory control.
  • Document project performance, including daily reports, time cards, safety inspections, and schedule updates.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of building construction experience required at the Superintendent level for ground-up projects between $20M - $100M.

Shaw Construction offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $150,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience, as well as a bonus commensurate with individual performance, company performance, and experience.
