Maternal Support Services Social Worker

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Maternal Support Services team. As a Social Worker, you will provide culturally relevant counseling interventions, education, and case management to clients in our community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. If you are passionate about supporting expectant mothers and families, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide brief, culturally relevant counseling interventions and education to clients
- Conduct case management and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement programs and services
- Participate in outreach and community engagement activities
Requirements:
- Counselor Certification (Washington State) with a Bachelor or Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Educational Psychology
- Internship or practicum experience with direct counseling services to clients
- Ability to recognize, support, and describe healthy parenting from a family strengths perspective
- Understanding and respect for cultural differences and diverse kinds of families
- Access to an insured vehicle and ability to make home visits
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Russian preferred
