Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated entry-level sales professional to assist CoinDesk's Global Partnerships team throughout the entire sales process and to generate new business opportunities. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving revenue and meeting organizational objectives by being proactive and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Partnerships team in all phases of the sales process to support business development efforts.
- Engage directly with clients to address inquiries and facilitate negotiations.
- Identify and create lead generation opportunities by connecting with targeted accounts.
- Analyze the competitive landscape to discover and pursue new business prospects.
- Support the Partnerships and Digital & Event Operations teams with client interactions, contract execution, deal maintenance, reporting, and internal progress tracking.
- Monitor revenue and manage digital media and event inventory.
- Share insights derived from competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
- Ensure data accuracy in Salesforce and other reporting systems for all sales activities and pipeline metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively within a global team. Previous experience in a client-facing sales role is a plus.
- A strong desire to learn about media and events products and the client landscape through self-directed learning and knowledge sharing.
- A genuine interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
- Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities through accountability and effective communication.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on helping the team exceed revenue goals.
- Self-motivated to excel and contribute to team efficiency through output and problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills to keep oneself and others aligned with objectives.
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, G Suite, and LinkedIn. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
Compensation: CoinDesk offers competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $105,000, plus a discretionary annual target bonus and benefits.
