Position Overview:

As a representative, you will deliver exceptional service to our members, partners, plan sponsors, and investment professionals. A thorough understanding of product offerings and regulatory requirements will be essential for addressing inquiries related to accounts, plan fees, and general questions. Additionally, you will effectively communicate marketing strategies to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members on various topics, demonstrating knowledge of different product suites.
  • Interpret and implement changes to products based on daily communications, identifying underlying questions to provide consultative support.
  • Document conversations meticulously to enhance member relationships and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
  • Educate clients on tax implications, penalties, and benefits associated with plans and contracts.
  • Analyze issues to determine appropriate actions, striving for first-contact resolution, and collaborate with internal teams for escalated matters.
  • Engage in monthly meetings with leadership to develop a career path strategy and set performance goals.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • ChFC, CLU, or other industry designations are desirable.
  • FINRA series 6 and/or 26 licenses may be required based on the assigned product or distribution system.

Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of various insurance products and sales processes.
  • Understanding of state and local laws regarding product features.
  • Awareness of FINRA rules and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office software and technology.
  • Ability to comprehend general aspects of plans/contracts and leverage technology in customer interactions.
