Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable / Customer Support Specialist will be pivotal in ensuring that our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences is met. Every customer is valuable and deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism. The candidate will take charge of external customer relationships, manage order entry, and oversee all aspects of customer billing. This role requires professional interaction with customers to provide information regarding products, order statuses, services, and to address all customer inquiries effectively. The candidate will also foster a positive team environment through collaboration, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to surpassing customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable / Customer Support Department:

  • Handle incoming calls, customer visits, and electronic communications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer issues, including inquiries about pricing and billing.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely billing process for all clients.
  • Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries.
  • Oversee the tracking and processing of supplemental and rebate programs with key suppliers.
  • Generate reports and proof of deliveries for sales support as needed.
  • Ensure that quotes and orders are entered promptly, adhering to deadlines set by the sales team and customers.
  • Check product availability and communicate estimated arrival times to customers when items are out of stock.
  • Adhere to all company policies and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of business operations.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Epicor P21 is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to build relationships and establish trust with customers.
