Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift during business hours of 8am - 8pm CST (most likely 10am - 7pm or 11am - 8pm CST).

You will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. while tackling significant challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications for program requirements, including medication adherence outreach, reminders, prescription refills, and provider follow-ups in a call center setting.
  • Ensure completion of calls and assignments while meeting census management and productivity standards on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, providing accurate information to customers.
  • Address escalated inquiries from various communication channels, including task queues and documentation platforms.
  • Review prescription claims documentation and maintain eligibility information confidentially.
  • Support internal staff and providers with Medicare drug-related inquiries, requesting additional information as needed.
  • Assist clinical staff and managers with clerical and administrative tasks for special projects and reports.
  • Adhere to scheduled hours and quality metrics.
  • Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives and assist in training new hires.
  • Attend necessary meetings and contribute to special committees as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient and coworker information.
  • Comply with all organizational policies and ethical business practices.
  • Work any schedule between 8am-8pm CST, with potential Saturday shifts in the future.
  • Ensure access to a reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher).
  • At least 6 months of experience in administrative support.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a pharmacy, medical, or healthcare environment.
  • 6 months of call center experience.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology for at least 6 months.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift Monday to Friday from 8am-8pm CST, with potential Saturday shifts.
  • Access to a dedicated workspace that ensures information privacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism in conduct and appearance.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adherence to all departmental policies and procedures.
