Job Title: Aftermarket Service Engineer

IPCO US LLC is seeking a highly skilled Aftermarket Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our aftermarket support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' equipment and providing technical support to our sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly and process engineering, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for visiting customers to optimize equipment and review spare parts inventories, generating visit reports, and maintaining our CRM system.

You will also provide technical support to our sales team during the quoting and order entry phase, assist sub-suppliers and design engineers to ensure overall fit, function, and quality, and collect and evaluate process data for design and scaleup.

Additionally, you will provide hands-on training to enhance product quality, both at our New Jersey Test Center and at customer sites, and assist sales engineers and belt technicians on customer visits as needed.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit customers to optimize equipment and review spare parts inventories
  • Generate visit reports and maintain our CRM system
  • Provide technical support to our sales team during the quoting and order entry phase
  • Assist sub-suppliers and design engineers to ensure overall fit, function, and quality
  • Collect and evaluate process data for design and scaleup

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to apply fundamental and complex engineering problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables

Work Environment:

The work environment is typically quiet when working from the office, but may be loud when working in the field. The employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in high places, in confined spaces, and in areas with fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, high noise levels, risk of electrical shock, risk of vibration, and risk of flash burns to the eyes caused by welding.
