Position Overview:

The Escrow Support Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the successful closing of real estate transactions. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage communication between various stakeholders involved in the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction, including buyers, lenders, and internal departments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure the branch maintains a professional appearance, including the upkeep of closing rooms and public areas.
  • Welcome clients and assist in creating a positive closing experience.
  • Reach out to clients to confirm appointments and gather necessary information for closings.
  • Maintain accurate records and track progress on assigned tasks.
  • Review initial closing documents and prepare Pre-Settlement Statements.
  • Analyze Title Commitments to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with community contacts.
  • Collaborate with Escrow Support Officers and IT to ensure data accuracy in systems.
  • Assist the branch in all aspects of settlement transactions as needed.
  • Adhere to Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines, including the management of funds in compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in general office administration.
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Escrow Officer is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with diverse homebuyer demographics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with One Note and Softpro is a plus.
  • Demonstrated loyalty and commitment to team objectives.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving objectives.

Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Notary Public certification is preferred.
