This role serves as the primary contact for the maintenance, safety, and security of all credit union facilities. The position requires physical presence at various locations, conducting on-site evaluations, and ensuring operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all credit union facilities, ensuring they are safe and fully functional.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of facilities and equipment to identify necessary repairs and services.
  • Execute both emergency and routine repairs on buildings and systems.
  • Manage emergency safety systems and equipment, including exit lighting and smoke detectors.
  • Oversee landscaping and grounds maintenance.
  • Maintain the fleet of credit union vehicles.
  • Perform regular assessments of facilities and security to uphold safety and operational standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs and renovations, as well as manage the procurement of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Handle courier duties, ensuring timely delivery of mail and documents between locations.
  • Assist in vendor management for seamless operational processes.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related issues or emergencies to minimize disruption.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation regarding facilities, courier activities, and procurement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive operations across all credit union locations.
  • Be available for on-call emergency situations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Stay informed about B.S.A. Compliance training requirements.

Performance Metrics:

  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external members, adhering to our service standards.
  • Respond to issues with urgency and precision, keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Proactively evaluate each location to maintain the highest standards of image, security, and safety for staff and members.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of two years in a related field.

Education: At least a high school diploma or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: This role involves interaction with colleagues and external contacts, requiring effective communication and courteous service.

Additional Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Candidates should possess a friendly demeanor, clear communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Compliance:

Employees are expected to adhere to the credit union's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering regulations. Training in B.S.A. and O.F.A.C. must be completed annually as provided by the Training and Compliance Department.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, U.S.A. Patriot Act, O.F.A.C., Fair Lending, and Credit Card Act.
