Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis. As an ABA therapist, you will work with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities to implement personalized treatment plans and promote skill development.

In this role, you will use evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to provide one-on-one support in home, school, and community settings. You will also be responsible for teaching adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills, as well as encouraging desired behaviors and enhancing play.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to our mission and values. We offer comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure your success in this rewarding role.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting one-on-one direct ABA therapy sessions in school or in home
  • Assisting the client throughout the day with academic & daily living tasks
  • Teaching adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills
  • Data collection and analysis to track client progress
Requirements
  • US work authorization

The salary range for this position is $20-$28 per hour.
