Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Graybar. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales and gross margin rate budgets
  • Lead a team of sales employees to develop and execute tactical plans
  • Evaluate industry and business trends to identify key business opportunities and potential threats
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • Ensure effective recruiting, staffing, employee development, performance management, and succession planning programs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tools and training programs to support business growth
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales management
  • 4+ years of experience preferred
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry
  • Experience with financial analysis methods and techniques
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and practices
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Negotiation and mathematical skills
  • Ability to leverage resources effectively and make quality fact-based decisions
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • Ability to be an effective member of and lead complex project teams
What We Offer
  • Starting salary of $95,000.00 annually, subject to increase based on experience
  • Eligibility for bonus incentives based on specific business metrics
