Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer suitable therapeutic modalities and treatments to patients referred by healthcare professionals, while suggesting modifications to care plans as necessary.
  • Engage in quality assurance practices, uphold productivity benchmarks, and utilize therapeutic modalities and exercise apparatus effectively, providing clear instructions through demonstrations and communication.
  • Offer constructive feedback and collaborate with Physical Therapists and Physicians during discharge planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation within clinical records.
  • Contribute to the marketing and promotion efforts of the Physical Therapy clinic and its services.
  • Act as a representative for the Physical Therapy department, assisting the Physical Therapy Manager in outreach and promotional activities.
  • Participate in departmental operations, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and performing general tasks essential for clinic functionality.
  • Adhere to the ethical standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association and comply with the practice regulations in South Carolina, enabling patients to attain improved independence, health, and overall quality of life.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of all patient medical records and proprietary information.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and leadership experience.
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient environment.
