Job Summary

Overview: Responsible for taking food and beverage orders and delivering them efficiently to guests in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet guests and take their food and beverage orders promptly, adhering to established service protocols.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients, providing recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
  • Handle cash transactions following proper procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests.
  • Address guest complaints or issues promptly and relay necessary information to supervisors.
  • Ensure the dining area is properly set up before and after service, adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines.
  • Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
