Bilingual Logistics Associate

Alamance Foods is seeking a dedicated Logistics Associate to enhance our team. This role is vital to our operational success, involving a variety of responsibilities such as monitoring shipments, overseeing inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse functionality. The ideal candidate should have fundamental computer skills, be adept in using Microsoft Teams, and possess experience with Bills of Lading (BOL).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document all incoming and outgoing shipments utilizing warehouse management software and BOL.
  • Manage inventory accuracy by gathering stock location requests, generating print orders, and recording quantities of materials or items received or dispatched.
  • Engage and communicate with various departments to promote seamless warehouse operations.
  • Leverage Microsoft Teams for effective team communication and coordination.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and ensure precise inventory records.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Comprehend and interpret the schedule specifically for item changeovers.
  • The Logistics Associate will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Customer Service Focus: Strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service to drivers and visitors.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Demonstrated experience as a logistics associate or in a comparable position.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Bills of Lading (BOL) and shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Teams for communication and coordination.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
