Job Description

The Activity Program Director is a key role in our facility, responsible for planning and implementing an activity program that meets the entertainment interests and social needs of residents. This position requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement activities to foster resident entertainment and engagement, including large groups, small groups, and individual participation
  • Responsible for delivering the residents' mail, newsletters, and other facility information
  • Coordinate community involvement in the facility
  • Plan staff functions and activities to increase staff morale
Requirements:
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
  • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
  • Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
