We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Service Representative.

Role Overview:

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring that each patient's experience is seamless and enjoyable. Your organizational skills and ability to multitask will be key in managing appointments and navigating insurance processes effectively. This role is vital in fostering positive patient interactions and enhancing their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Patient Service Representative, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing incoming phone calls and responding to voicemails promptly.
  • Welcoming new and returning patients, notifying clinical staff of their arrival.
  • Gathering essential patient information for new registrations, including medical history and privacy notices.
  • Processing patient check-outs, including payment collection and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Addressing inquiries from walk-in patients regarding insurance and treatment options.
  • Maintaining accurate communication logs for patient interactions.
  • Reviewing and adjusting the daily clinic schedule as necessary.
  • Ensuring all bonding approvals are current and active.
  • Communicating the cancellation policy to patients effectively.
  • Generating end-of-day reports and reconciling collected payments.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of customer service experience.
  • At least two years of experience in a patient service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Work Schedule:

The position requires availability during the following hours:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday - Friday: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Two Saturdays per month
  • Two shifts per month from 9:45 AM - 6:00 PM
